What Are Neurotoxins?

There is a quartet of cosmetic neurotoxins on the market.

All are FDA Approved, and the most recognizable one may be Botox; the other Neurotoxins are Jeuveau and Dysport. Each containing the same active ingredient (BoNT-A), and each of them is FDA-approved to treat the same aesthetic concerns. All Neurotoxins start working once they’re injected into the muscle. Their full effect may not be seen for aesthetic purposes until two to seven days after the injection.
